Day Camp is located in the lower level of The Woodstock Little Theater!

We strive to provide an array of activities and programs that your child will enjoy and learn from.
Our camp staff will take part in the Vermont Parks & Recreation state wide summer staff training program in May. They will be energized with ideas and armed with valuable knowledge.



Payment policy for day camp: $25 cancellation fee per week per child! No refund given without a one week notice. 
No deposits to hold a spot, Due to popularity payment is due at
Registration.

What to Bring to Camp
MANDATORY:

Sturdy Footwear: (Athletic shoes/Hiking boots) Please DO NOT send your child to camp in sandals. It is very important to send your child with good footwear. The camp plays a lot of games and goes on many hikes and nature walks.
Rainwear & Warm Clothing: Please dress your child appropriately or send extra clothing with your child in case of climate change.
Morning Snack & Lunch: Camp DOES NOT provide snack or lunch for campers.
Water Bottle: Send water with your child.
Sunscreen: For those hot, sunny days.

General Information
  • Camp will be divided by age group. The groups will be 5/6yr. olds, 7/8 yr. olds, 9/10 yr. olds and 11/12 yr. olds.
  • Many more new and exciting adventures are planned for this summer as well as crafts, camp songs, games, swimming lessons and much more.
  • Important Notice: Every child attending camp is entitled to a safe environment. Our programs cannot serve children who display chronically disruptive behavior. If a child has difficulty following the program guidelines the parent will be contacted to discuss a plan of action and consequences for the behavior. If a child has continuous disciplinary problems they will not be able to attend camp the following week. If your child has an individual aide during the school year, or if they have any type of developmental or physical issue that requires special attention they will need to have an aide with them at camp. (there would be no charge for that person to attend camp) If your child has a disability or any other physical, mental or emotional challenge, you are required to let the WRC Recreation Director know and a meeting will be set up. Information will be kept confidential. Your Camp Director will be available to talk over any additional concerns.
  • You may drop off your child off at the lower level of The Woodstock Little Theater any time between 8:30 & 9:00 AM and pick up any time between 4:30 and 5:00 PM. The WRC is not responsible for any child dropped off before 8:30 AM or picked up after 5:00 PM
  • Please remember that the staff is not responsible for your child unless your child is registered at the Woodstock Recreation Center, Inc.
  • Partial scholarships are available but early applications are imperative!
  • All parents will need to fill out a medical release form to be handed in the first day of camp. See form listed under Additional Files
  • REGISTRATION FOR CAMP MUST BE PRE-PAID BY THE THURSDAY OF THE WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR CHILD ATTENDING CAMP
  • Special Needs; If your child has an individual aide during the school year, or if they have any type of developmental or physical issue that requires special attention they will need to have an aide with them at camp. (there will be no charge for the aide to attend camp) If your child has a disability or any other physical, mental or emotional challenge, you are required to let the WRC Recreation Director know. Your Camp Director will be available to talk over any additional concerns.
  • All children must be 100% toilet trained to attend camp

Parents
