This is for children in grades 2-6. This program will focus on helping each player improve on an individual basis through excellent instruction and healthy competition.

The registration deadline is September 1st. A $25 late fee will be applied

Refund Policy: No late fees paid will be refunded, you will receive a refund for the fee of the sport if you cancel within 2 weeks of practice starting. After 2 weeks there will be NO REFUNDS.
 
If numbers permit both field hockey programs will remain separate with practices and an attempt to have 2nd thru 4th-grade games along with separate 5th and 6th-grade games.

2nd thru 4th Graders
Practice: Tuesday, Thursdays and Friday 4 - 5:15 pm @ Vail Field
Dates and Times are subject to change
Equipment needed: Googles, Mouth guard, cleats, shin guards and stick
This program is played with No Goal and a small sided field
Min of 12 players will be needed for this program

Important Information for 2nd Grade Families Registering for 3rd/4th Grade Field Hockey

We’re excited to welcome 2nd grade players to join our 3rd and 4th grade field hockey program! Opening this opportunity to younger athletes is a great way to begin developing skills and building interest in the sport at an early age.

Please note that while 2nd graders are welcome to fully participate in team practices, their game play will be very limited. Due to differences in size and skill level, regular gameplay can be unsafe for our younger players. Most towns also do not include 2nd graders in their game schedules. As such, we expect that there may only be one game opportunity toward the end of the season, if conditions allow.

The primary experience for 2nd graders in this program will be skill development and teamwork through practices. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping our youngest players grow safely and confidently in the sport of field hockey.
