Practices
  • If your child has a practice that starts immediately after school gets out be aware that it is still your responsibility to get them to Vail Field safely. The school can’t be responsible for kids traveling to practice and neither can the coach.
  • Please have your child READY to begin practice PROMPLTY at its scheduled start time.
  • If your child is going to be absent from practice or games please communicate this to the coaches. Please understand the importance of every child being at every practice and every game. With the number of participants that we have from year to year one or two children absent can have a drastic effect on the team as a whole.
  • Last but absolutely not least is be prepared to pick up your children up from practice PROMPLTY at its end. The coaches will never leave a child at the field but please understand that our coaches VOLUNTEER a lot of their time for these young athletes so be considerate and be there when practice ends!

General Player Rules and Conduct
~ Every player is expected to attend each and every practice and game unless an illness, injury or personal commitment prevents you from participating. (Notify a coach in advance)
~ Horseplay, foul language and teammate harassment will NOT be tolerated at any time. Our goal is to provide a challenging yet positive experience for all players and coaches involved.
~ Approach every practice and game with a positive attitude and be attentive during all drills.

We take the responsibility of keeping the players safe seriously. We require that all players LISTEN to the coaches and do as asked. We appreciate parent’s cooperation and support in this effort. We are trying to teach the sport of soccer, but more important, the responsibilities and fun of team play. This includes respect for our teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and most important, ourselves. We want the players to come away from this experience having learned that a team working together will accomplish much more than a group of individuals. Please feel free to discuss any concerns with any coach early, rather than waiting.

RESTRICTIONS on Fall Sports Due to Covid
Facial Coverings are REQUIRED to be worn by all players, coaches, officials, staff and spectators at ALL TIMES, INCLUDING ACTIVE PLAY. Please consider this when you register your child. If you have an issue with you or your child wearing a mask consider that it's a requirement and anyone not wearing one will not be allowed to participate. No one wants to be the mask police!

For the 2020 soccer season we've chosen to have an In-House season only playing games with-in our own team in the form of Inter-squad scrimmaging. The Recreation Department feels this is the safest approach to offering a fall sport under the current state of the Pandemic. Our goal is to provide this activity for our community members in the safest manor possibly and not allowing them to become part of the problem with community spread of this virus
