PiYo is a total-body strengthening workout designed for people who want the mind-body benefits of a yoga or Pilates workout, but with a higher-energy, higher-sweat class. PiYo combines athletic stretching, bodyweight training, cardio conditioning, and upbeat music to help increase range of motion and resiliency in joints, improve balance and energy, and reduce stress. This low impact class links together dynamic, constantly flowing exercises and poses to engage the large and small muscles of your body. You’ll sweat, stretch, strengthen, and smile your way through this mat-based, 60-minute class. Your mind and body will thank you when you finish, the instructor promises.

About the Instructor, Jody Eaton
I want to be able to do a split when I’m 80! That’s my why. In order to do a senior split, it requires two things. That I will be living at 80, obviously, and that I will have the flexibility needed. That’s why I put my sneakers on everyday and move my body. That’s why I keep my weight at a healthy level. That’s why I stretch and drink a gallon of water each day.
What’s your why? This is the question that I ask all of my clients and class-goers, also known as Team SoulShine. Jody Eaton, owner of SoulShine Training, is an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and Group Fitness Instructor who teaches HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), PiYo, and Cardio Dance classes.
